Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

AEDs are located in the following areas:

  • Upper Concourse
  • South Exhibit Hall

Accessibility and Special Needs

The Mobile Convention Center is committed to accommodating the needs of individuals with disabilities for all events in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. For guests with special needs, the Convention Center has a limited number of wheelchairs to transport guests to their event. To arrange transport, contact the Security Office prior to an event at 251-208-2165.

During an event, guests can ask the closest Mobile Convention Center team member for assistance.

Accessible Parking

The Mobile Convention Center offers accessible parking in our parking garage and our front drive. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Airport

The Mobile Convention Center is serviced by the Mobile Regional and Downtown Airports and is accessible by public transportation, car service and taxi from all airports.

Alcohol Policy

All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside the Mobile Convention Center. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

Animal Policy

Certified service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome at the Mobile Convention Center and must remain on a leash or in a harness. All other animals are prohibited.

ATM

The Mobile Convention Center ATM is located on the south end of the third floor - upper concourse.

Baby Changing Stations

All restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations. Please see Restrooms for a list of the locations.

Banners & Signs

Please notify your Event Manager if a banner or sign will be needed for your event. Improper notification and hanging of signs could incur a fee for damage.

Bag Policy

Bags are permitted throughout the facility. Guests entering the Mobile Convention Center are subject to search at the discretion of Management. Please note that bag policies are subject to change based on the event.

Coat Check

Upon request, the Mobile Convention Center can provide coat check for your event. Check with your Event Manager for more details. We are not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen or damaged.

Concessions

Concession stands are open for select events. When open, these stands offer a variety of food and beverages for purchase. Credit and debit payments are only accepted as we are a CASHLESS venue.

Elevators & Escalators

Elevators are located in the following areas:

  • Covered Dropoff on Front Shuttle Drive
  • South end of Parking Garage
  • North end of Parking Garage

Escalators are located in the following areas:

  • Southwest corner entrance

Escalators for moving between Level 2 and Level 3 are located in the Northwest and Southwest quadrants of the building.

Emergency Evacuation

The Mobile Convention Center team members have been trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. Evacuation routes may change due to the location of the emergency. In the event of an emergency, please listen for direction via the intercom system and follow the direction of the Convention Center team for your safety and the safety of others.

First Aid

The Mobile Convention Center is equipped with standard First Aid supplies. During public events and at the discretion of event planners, certified First Aid personnel will be available. In the event of an emergency, please go to the first available team member for assistance.

Food & Beverage

All catering and concessions are provided exclusively in-house by OVG Hospitality. Outside food and/or beverages of any kind are not allowed.

Guest Drop-Off

The Convention Center is equipped with a shuttle drive in front of the building with covered access. 

**Shuttle drive is currently under construction for Heroes Plaza coming soon**

Guest Services

The Mobile Convention Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek any Convention Center team member throughout the facility.

Hosting an Event

The Mobile Convention Center is the perfect place to host your next event. For more information about hosting your event or party at our facilities, please call our Sales Department at 251-208-2100.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Mobile Convention Center rarely cancels or postpones events due to inclement weather. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be posted immediately on our website and social media channels.

Lodging

The Mobile Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Mobile, AL with numerous hotels located within walking distance. For a comprehensive list of hotels and attractions, please visit www.mobile.org.

Lost & Found

Please contact our Security Department at 251-208-2165 to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items. If you have lost an item while at an event, please speak with an Event Services Representative, Security Officer or Convention Center Manager for further assistance.

Lost Children or Companions

If you become separated from your child or companion during an event, please seek the nearest Event Services Representative, Security Officer or Convention Center team member for assistance.

Mother/Nursing Room

A limited number of Mother/Nursing Rooms are available. Please seek the nearest Event Service team member for assistance.

Parking

There are many parking options at the Mobile Convention Center. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for additional information.

Prohibited Items

The Mobile Convention Center does not permit the following items into the facility:

  • Weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc.)
  • Aerosol cans
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Vaping
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Fireworks
  • Drones
  • Helium Balloons

Men's and Women's restrooms may be found at the following locations in the Mobile Convention Center:

Security

The Mobile Convention Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should notify an Event Services Representative, Security Officer or any other Convention Center Manager. If you see something, say something. Please report suspicious activity to our security team at 251-208-2165.

Smoking

There is no smoking/vaping permitted anywhere in the Mobile Convention Center. Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas. This policy is strictly enforced.

Sponsorship/Advertising Opportunities

Strollers

If needed, guests may bring strollers to an event at the Mobile Convention Center. We ask that elevators are used in lieu of escalators when operating a stroller.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located throughout the upper and lower concourses and in our exhibit halls.
