Rock & Roll Hall of Fame icons, The Isley Brothers will bring their expansive catalog of hits spanning over
five decades to the City of Mobile and the region this fall.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Wednesday, September 14. Doors open at 7:00pm and show time is 8:00pm.
The Grammy Lifetime Achievement award winners have sold eighteen million units for hit songs and chart-toppers such as “Twist and Shout,” “It’s Your Thing” and eighties classic- “Caravan of Love’ and were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992. The Isley Brothers’ legacy and musical works inspired fellow contemporaries and generations with their energetic, edgy, and soulful R & B style.
The Gulf Coast Challenge Powered by the Mobile Sports Authority will also highlight a dynamic game-day battle on Saturday, November 12, 2022, with a 4:00pm kickoff at Ladd-Peebles Stadium between Alabama A & M University Bulldogs and the Jackson State Tigers. Record game attendance is anticipated.
“Our Annual Gulf Coast Challenge creates a fun and exciting opportunity for visitors to the City of Mobile, key business leaders, diverse communities, and HBCU fans as they come together and experience different aspects of the Gulf Coast that may be a deviation from their norm,” said GCC Executive Director Timothy Hale. “We uniquely combine HBCU’s rich historical legacy with that of Mobile, major attractions, and of course multiple ways to engage and create a memorable and entertaining event for all involved.
Led by 2021 SWAC Coach of the Year/NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Jackson State will battle against Coach Connell Maynor and the determined Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University. This classic rivalry is generating huge interest from gridiron fans, alumni, and enthusiasts from across the entire country for what is known by many as “The Ultimate HBCU Experience.” Mobile Native and NFL great Robert Brazile, along with fellow JSU Alum Carl Cunningham, will serve as Game Day Ambassador and Grand Marshall, respectively, for the GCC Challenge which starts November 9.
The game, music concerts, and week-long activities including a Career Networking Reception will serve to further elevate and involve the entire Mobile area community, key national and regional business partners, local vendors and HBCU faithful.
Patrons, Isley Brothers & Tank fans, and game attendees are encouraged to visit www.thegulfcoastchallenge.com for ticket information and social media sites for any key details or announcements.
